More than just a class or program, StoryTrax® training is a collaborative journey in which facilitators, mentors and apprentices are always learning, growing and multiplying. Some trainees will be content to participate in the training and use it in their personal lives. Others however, will want to go to the next level of multiplication by becoming officially certified Facilitator-Mentors.
Intent to gain certification is not a requirement to participate in training, but is available for those who want to pursue a greater level of connection and service with the international StoryTrax team.
StoryTrax training is simultaneously for personal growth and for learning to disciple others. In each type of StoryTrax training, participants move from classroom activities to real world engagement within their networks of relationships. All along the way —individually and as a team— we strive to gain experience as genuine practitioners. This yields the fruit of yet more personal growth, and beyond that to multiplication of benefit for others.
Certification indicates official recognition that a Facilitator-Mentor has been a trustworthy teacher and example of StoryTrax training.
To qualify for certification, StoryTrax practitioners must be able to demonstrate that they are consistently using the StoryTrax approach as it was intended, and are successfully equipping others through StoryTrax training.
Facilitator-Mentors are expected to participate in periodic regional leadership development events. These events are designed to help them to build mutually supportive relationships with other Facilitator-Mentors, as well as to further develop their vision and skills for StoryTrax implementation.
